Exudrain Passive

Mediplast drainage sets are very easy to use. They do not require expensive equipment or specially trained personnel.

Description

Exudrain Passive is a gravity drainage system with a medium capacity.

  • Initial average vacuum after activation: 20–40 mmHg
  • Bellows capacity: 110 ml
  • Bag capacity: 700 ml
  • Bag with hydrophobic filter
  • Supplied as a set with a drain

Application:

  • General surgery
  • Chirurgia piersi

Low pressure selection

The use of low-pressure drains has many advantages, such as:

  • Efficient suction1
  • Reduced blood loss2
  • Better drainage collection3
  • Earlier removal of drains4
  • Less tissue aspiration5

In cases where too much pressure is applied, tissues and small vessels may be sucked into the drains, leading to excessive blood loss and increased patient discomfort. Mediplast’s low-pressure sets provide effective drainage with fewer issues.6
